On-Site Inspection |
Important Information
- Before
you can start using the service to order credit reports:
3. You must
complete an onsite inspection. A certified inspector,
usually a realtor in your area
will
contact you in
2-3 business days to setup an
appointment. The inspector will
come your home or business
office from which you conduct your rental business to see if it meets
Security Guidelines. These Guidelines ensure that the credit
files you receive are used for legitimate purposes and
are maintained in a secure way.
There is NO
extra cost for the
inspection, it is included
with your registration.
Inspection Criteria -
A. Your office must have a lockable door, separating it from
your living quarters, recreation or storage space.
There must be no
indication the room can be used for any other purposes.
B. Credit Reports must
be kept in a locked cabinet or desk drawer.
C. A Shredder
or burn barrel is required on site to safely
discard confidential documents.
D. Your PC must
be Password protected.
